​​This the fifth year we host the international youth leadership summer program at Colby College.
The main purposes of the camp are to :
  • prepare students for academic success and leadership roles in their schools and community.
  • Students learn the skills, mindsets and personal qualities of highly successful students and recognized leaders. 
  • Campers engage in thoughtful discussions about the roles and responsibilities of highly effective people and discover and assess their own leadership potential. 
  • Campers are challenged to think creatively, critically, and comprehensively.

Qualified participants who have attended Youth Leadership camp have come from schools in Europe including Greece and Italy, the United States, and China. Our aim is to bring the best and the brightest from these high achieving schools so our campers can engage with highly motivated students from across the globe.

The Leadership camp takes place on the campus of Colby College in Waterville, Maine/USA. Campers will dine in the award-winning Dining Hall and reside in the comfortable dorms at Colby.​​
Founded in 1813, Colby College is the 12th-oldest private Liberal Arts college in the country.  Located in central Maine, our 714-acre Mayflower Hill campus overlooks downtown Waterville and the Kennebec River Valley.  The beautiful, picture-postcard campus offers guests a safe, retreat-type setting that fosters learning and growth.  Each summer, more than 6,000 people from Maine and around the globe come to Colby College to attend medical training courses, conferences, and seminars, as well as youth programs and sports camps.

Tuition and Payment:​​​​
  • $ 1,350 dollars per camper, These fees are all inclusive, for all daily activities, trips, lodging and food.
  • Airport pick up and drop off are provided for surcharge (at the Portland, Maine Jetport) on the first and last day of camp (only for campers flying to camp), the cost is $100 dollars per ride.
  • We accept payment in cash, check and paypal.

Is there a sibling discount?
The first sibling is a full-cost participant. Each additional sibling participant is discounted $100.
Is there an early bird discount?
The early bird discount is $100 if you pay the tuition before Mar 15 2020.
Is the program fee refundable?
The program fee is non-refundable. If participation is not possible after processing, the camp fee can be credited to a future leadership program.
What is the cost of camp if I am a commuter?
We do accept commuters for the camp. The commuter discount is $300.00.
I’m attending the camp from far away, what is the closest airport to fly into?
The closest airport to campus is the Portland, Maine Jetport (PWM) and is approximately 60 minutes away from campus. The tuition does not cover transportation to or from the airport. We provide surcharged pick up and drop off service to and from PWM. The cost is $100 dollars per ride, per camper.

I am trying to coordinate travel to and from the camp, when should I arrive and depart?
Registration takes place from 3:00 pm at Cotter Union Building (otherwise referred to as the Student Union) on the first day of camp.  Our last session will conclude at 9:00 am on the final day of camp. All campers will need to vacate their dormitory by 9:00 am. We recommend that campers not fly out of PWM prior to 2:00 pm if possible.

How do you assign dorms and roommates?
We match roommates and group the rooms according to age and gender. If two campers who are the same age and grade request to live together, we can usually accommodate them.
Is the Leadership Camp affiliated with a certain religion?
No, the Leadership Camp is not affiliated with any religion. Our campers come from all different backgrounds and there are no religious activities at camp.
How many campers attend International Youth Camp at Colby college?
Our enrollment is limited to 60 campers per session.
